The AGC of Ohio Education
Foundation scholarships for the 2008-09 academic year have been awarded.
The 2009-10 scholarship applications will be available by the end of
October.
Central Ohio AGC (two $1,000 scholarships) - Applicants must be U.S.
citizens in their second year of a 2-year, 4-year or 5-year
college/university; enrolled or plan to enroll in a construction degree
program; and reside in one of the counties within the Central Ohio AGC
territorial jurisdiction (Franklin, Madison, Logan, Union, Hardin, Marion,
Delaware, Morrow, Knox, Licking, Muskingum, Perry, Fairfield, Pickaway,
Champaign, Fayette, Ross, Gallia, Meigs, Hocking, Vinton, Jackson,
Lawrence, Guernsey, Morgan, Noble, Washington, Athens, and Monroe).
AGC of Ohio (two $1,000 scholarships) -
Applicants must be enrolled or plan to enroll in a construction degree
program and reside in Ohio or an adjacent county.
Central Ohio AGC members Baker Concrete
Construction, Liberty Construction, Lincoln Construction and Shook
Construction are also sponsoring scholarships. In addition, former AGC
Chairman Tim Galvin of Brexton Construction made a personal contribution
to sponsor a scholarship in his name.
